As a Software Lead Engineer at SCAI, you will be a key contributor to the code base and product development, tackling some of the most challenging technical problems in the field. Your responsibilities will include ongoing coaching and mentoring of team members, owning, designing, and building software systems in collaboration with solution architects, product managers, and other cross-functional teams. You will suggest process improvements and best practices while participating in the hiring and interviewing processes for candidates. You will also implement and advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance to ensure reliable and resilient software delivery, incorporate security best practices into the software development process, and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of technical concepts and project status.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering, computer science, or a related technology field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and being part of Agile teams.
- Proven ability to build high-quality systems with readable, maintainable, and testable code.
- Broad experience designing, programming, and implementing large information systems.
- Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of complex technological issues.
- In-depth knowledge of system architecture and the capability to design scalable and maintainable software systems.
- Experience conducting and participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Flexibility to handle changing priorities and requirements.
- Experience in .NET, Python, Java, or Go, including knowledge of testing tools such as NUnit, JUnit, etc.
