Key Responsibilities:
- Be a major contributor to the code base and product development, tackling significant technical problems.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members.
- Own, design, and build software systems in collaboration with solution architects, product managers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Suggest process improvements and best practices while developing new processes.
- Participate in hiring and interviewing candidates.
- Implement and advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance.
- Ensure the integration of security best practices in the software development process.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Experience in Agile methodologies as part of Agile teams.
- Proven record of building high-quality systems with readable, maintainable, and testable code.
- Broad experience in designing, programming, and implementing large information systems.
- In-depth knowledge of system architecture and the ability to design scalable and maintainable software systems.
- Experience in conducting and participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Typescript/Javascript, React, Vue.js, CSS, SCSS, styled-components, Jest, and testing libraries.
