As a Software Strategy Lead within the Client and Graphics business unit, you will define and manage key software strategies that set the long-term direction for a broad product portfolio. This leadership role involves engaging with strategic customers and ecosystem partners to translate their requirements into effective software strategies and initiatives that provide ongoing value for both the company and its partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, oversee, and evolve portfolio-level software strategy across the Client and Graphics product portfolio to enhance competitive positioning and establish long-term thought leadership.
- Serve as a senior strategic liaison with key customers and ecosystem partners, aligning and executing software strategies that generate sustained value for the company.
- Manage multi-year strategic planning for essential software enablement, including APIs and critical software components, to create enhanced end-user experiences.
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Architecture, Program Management, and Product Management teams to ensure alignment and execution.
- Communicate strategy, priorities, and progress effectively to executive leadership through clear, data-based updates to facilitate informed decision-making.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in software product management, business development, and/or software engineering, showcasing experience in driving strategic initiatives that intersect technical and business domains.
- Strong familiarity with Client hardware and software ecosystems, particularly the Windows platform.
- Experience with consumer AI technologies and their influence on end-user experiences.
- Proven performance in collaborating within cross-functional teams and achieving alignment on successful outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to define and influence multi-year strategies while balancing immediate execution with long-term vision.
- 12+ years of experience in related fields.
Academic Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, systems engineering, or a related field is required.
- A Master’s degree or MGA is preferred.
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Salary Range: $149.5K/yr - $224.3K/yr
