Software Tester

Job Purpose:
To ensure high quality of all software project deliverables, fully meeting the customer's requirements.

Essential Role and Responsibilities:

• Review customer requirements in the sales phase.
• Actively involve in the sales offer review process to ensure testability of the requirements.
• Support risk assessment and contribute to effort estimation for testing.
• Verify the completeness and clarity of specification documents.
• Create test specifications for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
• Prioritize functional requirements based on risk and complexity classification.
• Specify test cases during the software implementation phase.
• Review technical designs to match specifications and ensure testability.
• Complete and execute test cases based on project specifications, including test planning (Iterations, FATs).
• Define the Software In-house Test Plan and participate in in-house testing with subsystems and third parties, led by Integration Management.
• Configure automated tests (e.g., Load and Performance Tests) and execute onsite software commissioning tests.
• Manage the defects lifecycle and decide if the release meets the quality requirements.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering.
• Professional experience in testing techniques and methodologies.
• Experience with ISTQB CTFL or equivalent is a plus.
• ISTQB Advanced Level software testing certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent understanding of IT and software development topics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle conflicts.
• Excellent motivational skills and ability to delegate.
