Solution Architect

About the Role
The Solution Architect is integral in translating clients' business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs for large complex technology solutions and architectures. Acting as the ultimate authority on the designed architecture, you will advocate for clients and provide direction during design activities, which are often project-based and may involve working on customer sites. You will have the flexibility to work up to 50% from home, allowing for a balanced work environment.

You will define and document the architecture to effectively communicate the value proposition of the business solution and the project approach, collaborating closely with the Project Manager to ensure technical governance throughout the design, build, and deployment phases.

Responsibilities

• Gather customer/partner insights from a wide array of stakeholders, including the main business sponsor, to define and execute projects, socializing business solutions and project approaches to determine necessary changes.
• Utilize an evidence-based approach to represent the customer/partner as an advocate, sharing insights with Product Engineering teams to improve the company technologies and offerings to better meet customer needs across territories.
• Define and document the architecture through various documents, such as an architecture description document, decisions log, and a requirements/constraints traceability matrix, effectively communicating the value proposition of the business solution alongside the project approach.
• Collaborate with customers to understand and demonstrate the business value realized by the solution, managing ambiguity in requirements while documenting assumptions and implications where resolution is not possible.
• Generate new intellectual property and improve existing solutions, identifying gaps and patterns across business and technology areas to drive change.
• Evaluate which ideas to advance while considering scalability, driving the reuse of intellectual property and recommending practices in both pre-sales and delivery.
• Lead virtual teams by sharing ideas and strategic input around technologies and customer challenges, leveraging knowledge of the company architectures within their competitive landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain Cloud (Azure) & AI.
• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience in the same areas.
• Minimum of 6+ years in technical pre-sales experience.
• Minimum of 6+ years in technical project management experience.
• At least 3+ years in people management experience, overseeing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.
• Technical or Professional Certification in Domain Cloud (Azure) & AI is required.
• Fluent in Arabic at a professional/native level.
• Experience working with Public Sector customers.
