As an Airport Operations Architect, you will act as the operational Design Authority, defining future-state Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), ensuring stakeholder alignment, and maintaining international standards throughout the operational lifecycle. Significant responsibility also includes translating operational requirements into technical specifications, overseeing multi-disciplinary projects, and participating in operational policy and governance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as Operational Design Authority for airport refurbishment, ensuring sound design and architecture decisions.
- Define and structure the Target Operating Model (TOM) and CONOPS.
- Conduct operational, functional, and capacity assessments of facilities.
- Translate requirements into specifications for operational IT systems and terminal layouts.
- Coordinate with partners and ensure alignment across project disciplines.
- Oversee costing and commercial structuring of operational solutions.
- Communicate operational solutions to project stakeholders.
- Participate in operational policy development and performance monitoring.
Work Experience Requirements:
- 12-15 years in airport operations, terminal management, or aviation infrastructure consulting.
- At least 5 years in senior operational or technical leadership roles on major airport projects.
Qualifications & Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Airport Management, Aviation/Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Transport Planning, or Systems Engineering.
- Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACI AMPAP, ICAO AVSEC, PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
