Key Accountability Areas
As an ERP SCM Domain Expert (SME), you will:
- Lead the end-to-end architecture design of Supply Chain, Procurement, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Logistics solutions.
- Translate complex business requirements into effective system designs utilizing Oracle/SAP SCM modules.
- Guide functional consultants and developers in delivering system enhancements and integrations.
- Develop target operating models, integration architectures, and system landscapes across multiple platforms.
- Oversee the full implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Key Activities
Tactical
- Conduct blueprint design workshops and strategic planning for ERP implementations or transformations.
- Present functional solutions to stakeholders, showcasing thought leadership in alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Provide in-depth functional expertise coupled with technical knowledge in SCM Modules, including Maintenance Cloud, Procurement, Inventory & Costing, WMS Cloud, and others.
- Define and enforce governance, data quality, and change management processes across projects.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Manufacturing, Projects, and HR, for end-to-end process alignment.
Operational
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Participate in 1-2 full life cycle ERP-SCM module implementations, familiar with aspects like Blueprint workshops, design, development, and implementation.
- Design and manage integrations between SCM and related systems (ERP, MES, CRM, EAM, WMS, and logistics platforms).
- Engage with other teams on technical discussions and project-related tasks regarding integrations, middleware, and API options.
- Ensure comprehensive project documentation is maintained and updated throughout project phases.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Commerce, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience in the ERP Supply Chain/Procurement domain, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years in solution architecture roles.
- Experience in ERP SCM implementation projects, demonstrating a strong grasp of accounting and SCM concepts.
Education and Certifications
- Preferably hold a Cost Accountant/CA qualification or relevant SCM domain experience.
- ERP SCM Certification is valuable; TOGAF / ITIL certification is desirable.
- Experience with Cloud integration technologies is a plus.
