The Solution Architect will define the end-to-end technical vision and solution design to meet business and customer needs. You will collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, evaluate new technologies, and guide solution implementation to ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and alignment with the company's standards and strategy. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong communication, technical depth, and the ability to lead solution decisions across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine solution architectures that align with business requirements and the company's enterprise architecture principles.
- Provide direction and technical leadership to engineering and delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented effectively and coherently.
- Partner with stakeholders across technical and business domains to gather requirements, define expectations, and communicate architectural decisions clearly.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend the most effective platforms, patterns, and tools.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to performance, scalability, security, and project delivery constraints.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, specifications, and solution roadmaps.
- Ensure solutions uphold the company's standards for security, compliance, scalability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in IT, telecommunications, or cloud computing, with significant experience in solution architecture or systems design roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of system architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), databases, and scalable distributed systems.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts for varied audiences.
- Relevant cloud architecture certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred).
- Experience working in enterprise or mission-critical environments with security and compliance considerations (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence architectural decisions (preferred).
