Key Responsibilities:
- Own solution architecture for assigned workstreams or technical domains throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
- Participate in Architecture Review Boards and design reviews.
- Support engineering teams to ensure architectural designs are correctly implemented.
- Manage technical risks and design constraints.
- Define and validate non-functional requirements such as availability and performance.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and system integrators.
- Contribute to the programme's reference architecture and escalate strategic design decisions when necessary.
Your Profile:
- 7–12 years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture on large-scale technology programmes.
- Experience in government, defence, or regulated industries.
- Strong cloud architecture expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud networking.
- Experience with API-first and microservices-based architectures.
- Strong documentation skills with a background in producing HLDs, LLDs, ICDs, and ADRs.
- Good understanding of Secure-by-Design principles and identity management.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Tier-1 defence contractors or Ministry of Defence programmes.
- Knowledge of MoDAF, NAF, or DODAF.
- Experience with API management platforms like Apigee or AWS API Gateway.
- Exposure to observability platforms including Prometheus or Grafana.
- GCC or KSA government programme experience.
- Security clearance eligibility (SC or equivalent).
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, or TOGAF.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is expected; additional language skills may be advantageous.
