About the Job
As a Solution Architect - Web, you will lead the architecture of web-facing applications, setting standards for front-end development while driving scalability and performance. You will own the evolution of design systems and need a broad architectural background with deep expertise in web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the direction for web front-end architecture
• Design web architectures that scale and are easy to maintain
• Define coding standards, patterns, and best practices for web development
• Lead technical design reviews for UI and UX decisions
• Own the design system strategy, including reusable component libraries
• Drive performance, accessibility, and rendering efficiency of web applications
• Ensure functionality across different browsers and devices
• Lead accessibility compliance and adherence to WCAG standards
• Mentor engineers and enhance web capabilities
• Oversee code reviews, providing hands-on technical input
• Maintain clear and up-to-date architectural documentation
• Champion responsive design approaches
• Clearly explain architectural decisions to senior stakeholders

Technical Skills

• Core technologies: Svelte, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Architecture and design: Component-based architecture, state management (e.g. Svelte stores), progressive web applications, micro-frontend patterns
• Performance and quality: Performance profiling and optimization (focusing on Core Web Vitals and rendering), accessibility standards and testing, front-end testing frameworks, code quality practices
• Integration: API consumption and integration patterns, with an emphasis on REST and GraphQL where applicable
