Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Design:

  • Lead the overall solution architecture for Oracle AFCS and AHCS, ensuring alignment with enterprise finance, risk, and regulatory objectives.
  • Design chart of accounts, accounting rules, event models, ledger configurations, and subledger mapping to support multi-GAAP, multi-currency, and multi-entity requirements.
  • Define and architect integrations from source systems (core banking, insurance, trading, loan servicing, billing, etc.) into AFCS/AHCS using Oracle integration technologies.
  • Translate complex accounting requirements into scalable accounting rules within AHCS and AFCS.
  • Ensure solution design meets internal controls, auditability, and financial integrity standards.

• Implementation Leadership:

  • Lead functional design workshops, fit-gap analysis, solution walkthroughs, and blueprinting sessions.
  • Provide hands-on configuration and oversight for AFCS, AHCS, and ERP Financials Cloud modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM).
  • Oversee the design and build of accounting event frameworks, rules engines, subledger accounting transformations, and reporting structures.
  • Guide cross-functional teams (finance, technology, data, compliance) to ensure consistent and integrated end-to-end processes.
  • Support data migration strategy, mapping, and reconciliation from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud.

• Project Governance & Delivery:

  • Serve as the primary functional and architectural authority on multi-phase AFCS/AHCS programs.
  • Collaborate with PMO to manage delivery timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Review technical designs, test plans, conversion strategies, and cutover plans.
  • Provide leadership during UAT, parallel runs, and production go-live.
  • Ensure best practices for Oracle Cloud implementation, extensibility, and ongoing support.

• Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with finance, controllership, risk, and technology executives to shape transformation roadmaps.
  • Translate financial accounting needs into solution requirements understandable by technical teams.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on accounting engine strategy and Oracle Cloud Financials capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience implementing Oracle Financials solutions.
• 3+ years of hands-on design and implementation experience with:
  • Oracle Financial Services Accounting Foundation Cloud Service (AFCS)
  • Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS)
• Strong expertise with Oracle ERP Cloud Financials (GL, Subledger Accounting, AP, AR, FA).
• Proven experience in event-based accounting, multi-GAAP frameworks, subledger integration, and accounting rules engines.
• Deep understanding of BFSI accounting processes (banking, insurance, capital markets).
• Experience designing large-scale accounting and reporting architectures across multiple source systems.
• Strong experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or equivalent technologies for inbound/outbound data flows.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills across business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with regulatory reporting frameworks (IFRS, US GAAP, LDTI, CECL, Basel, Solvency II).
• Knowledge of Oracle Risk & Finance, FSDF, or other financial data models.
• Experience working with data lakes, real-time feeds, and enterprise data governance.
• Oracle Cloud certifications (Financials, AHCS, OIC, etc.).
• Background in Big 4 or large system integrator environments.
