Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and govern the end-to-end solution architecture for operational capabilities and transformation initiatives.
- Design architectures for core operational domains, including flight operations, technical, training, and networks operations.
- Architect integrations between operational systems and other enterprise applications, as well as third-party solutions.
- Define integration patterns using APIs, events, messaging, microservices, and batch processing according to business and technical needs.
- Enable real-time operational monitoring through event-driven architectures and dashboards.
- Partner with Operations teams to translate business priorities into practical technology roadmaps.
- Assess vendor products to ensure fit with enterprise architecture principles.
- Provide architectural direction through solution design, architecture reviews, and technical assurance.
- Maintain architecture documentation, including solution intents, capability maps, data flows, and integration designs.
- Evaluate emerging AI capabilities, recommending practical applications within Operations.
- Support agile delivery by defining architecture guardrails while enabling incremental business value.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, application architecture, enterprise architecture, or large-scale digital transformation programs.
- Proven experience in airline operations architecture and a strong understanding of airline operational processes.
- Strong knowledge of API architectures, microservices, and application integration.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience with AI, low-code tools, and modern cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Experience working within Agile and/or SAFe environments.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
