Solutions Architect - Application and Network Security

The Solutions Architect for Application and Network Security will provide pre-sales technical support and expertise to assist the sales function in meeting or exceeding sales quotas. This role may involve customer or product orientation and will contribute to sales account planning while actively participating in the sales process from deal qualification to closure. The Solutions Architect will own the technical aspects of the deal, analyze customer requirements, recommend suitable solutions, and conduct demonstrations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading technical engagements to drive opportunities to closure.
• Assessing current customer environments and delivering technical workshops, demos, and proof of concepts.
• Developing and executing plans to enable field teams and channel partners to effectively sell VMware solutions.
• Collaborating with engineering and product management teams to influence future product roadmaps based on customer feature requests.
• Providing strong project management and expert guidance while leading the design and delivery of new products/processes.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years; or a PhD with 3+ years of experience.
• Proven experience in identifying customer needs and promoting solutions to support digital transformation initiatives.

Work Conditions:
