About the Job:
The Solutions Architect for Application and Network Security at Broadcom provides pre-sales technical support and expertise to assist the sales function. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support to meet or exceed sales quotas.
• Participating actively in the sales process from deal qualification to closure.
• Owning the deal’s technical closure and analyzing customer requirements to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Responsible for product demos and acting as the customer voice to influence future product design.
• Leading technical engagements to drive opportunities to closure, which includes assessing customer environments and growth plans, delivering workshops, demos, and proofs of concepts.
• Driving lead generation activities to expand within existing customers and achieve revenue quota targets.
• Collaborating with VMware Engineering and Product management on customer feature requests and driving successful customer adoption of VMware Networking and Advanced Security solutions.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Wide-ranging experience in resolving complex issues creatively and effectively.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to lead design and delivery of new products/processes.
• Expertise in complementary fields and the ability to apply broad concepts to achieve innovative solutions.

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience; or a PhD with 3+ years of experience.
