The Solutions Architect / Bid Manager (Facilities Management) is responsible for interpreting client Requests for Proposals (RfPs) and developing tailored Facilities Management (FM) solutions that are operationally viable, commercially competitive, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. This role plays a critical part in the design, costing, and articulation of FM service delivery models within bid submissions. The successful candidate will work closely with Bid Managers, Technical SMEs, and the Commercial and Finance teams to develop solutions that address client needs, enhance operational efficiency, and meet compliance requirements while delivering a compelling value proposition.

Key Accountabilities
- Lead the interpretation and analysis of RfPs, ensuring a thorough understanding of client requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Design bespoke Facilities Management (FM) solutions that integrate hard FM (mechanical and electrical services) and soft FM (cleaning, security, catering, waste management, etc.) as required and appropriate to client needs.
- Develop solutions that enhance service efficiency, compliance, and sustainability in line with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Bid Managers and Writers to ensure FM solutions are clearly articulated in bid submissions, including methodology, service delivery models, and performance management approaches.
- Work closely with Commercial and Finance teams to develop pricing strategies and cost models that balance competitiveness with profitability.
Specific Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong experience in designing Facilities Management (FM) solutions within a bidding or pre-sales environment.
- Expertise in hard and soft FM services, with strong knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience in cost modelling, service pricing, and value engineering.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, working effectively across bid, commercial, and operational teams.
