Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer mission profiles and CONOPS — including convoy resupply, ISR, border and perimeter patrol, route clearance, EOD, and logistics in contested or GPS-denied environments — into robust autonomy solutions and deployment concepts.
- Lead technical discovery sessions with end users and integrators, developing solution architectures, integration plans, and phased deployment roadmaps.
- Own the technical content of RFI, RFP, and tender responses, including compliance matrices, technical annexes, and statements of work.
- Plan, execute, and support field demonstrations, user trials, and validation rounds — defining success criteria, capturing data, and transforming trial results into evidence for subsequent contract stages.
- Support integration of our autonomy stack onto partner and customer vehicle platforms, collaborating with OEM and integrator engineering teams on interfaces, safety cases, and acceptance testing.
- Lead technical discussions with senior military and government stakeholders, in conjunction with commercial representatives.
- Represent the voice of the customer to Product and Engineering organizations, relaying operational requirements back into the product roadmap.
- Assist with pricing and licensing structures for software and sustainment, and support other commercial, product, or strategic initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as sales engineering, solutions architecture, field engineering, systems engineering, defense consulting, or military technical roles.
- Working understanding of ground autonomy components: perception, localization in GNSS-denied conditions, path planning, teleoperation, comms links, and remote supervision.
- Experience with defense procurement processes, including tenders, trials, capability demonstrations, acceptance testing, and an understanding of military program timelines.
- Comfort with data analysis and tools such as Excel and Python, with proven ability to conduct rigorous technical analysis.
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively engaging both military leaders and engineers.
- Willingness to travel regionally and work in the field, including in challenging environments.
- Familiarity with UGVs, unmanned systems, defense platform integration, or military logistics is a strong advantage. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
