Job Description
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive payment solution architectures that include:
- Solution Architecture: Creating end-to-end architectures for card issuing (debit, credit, prepaid, closed-loop, virtual), acquiring (POS, ATM), e-commerce, and operational processes (reconciliation, chargeback).
- Strategic Framing: Translating client business requirements and regulatory contexts into coherent target-state architectures and phased solution strategies.
- Migration & Integration: Assessing existing client platforms and defining migration, integration, and interoperability approaches to minimize disruption to live operations.
- Regulatory Alignment: Incorporating local regulatory, scheme, and routing requirements into the solution design, while collaborating with compliance and legal stakeholders as needed.
- Demonstrating strong end-to-end knowledge of payment ecosystems encompassing card issuing, acquiring, e-commerce, and payments operations.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of experience in payments technology, solution architecture, or presales, particularly in client-facing roles.
- Proven ability to design or architect payment platform solutions, ideally across issuing/acquiring processing platforms and issuing APIs.
- Experience with platform migration or re-platforming of live production systems.
- Familiarity with payment scheme rules, regulatory frameworks, and local market considerations (including central bank oversight and domestic scheme participation).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, PMP) are a plus, but not mandatory.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
