Requirements
- At least 10+ years of technology experience with 2-3 years as a Solution Architect in the Payments/Cards domain
- Expertise in card management platforms (e.g. VisionPLUS, Way4, First Data, CardPac, etc.) and experience with end-to-end card lifecycle management, including acquiring, issuance, activation, transaction processing, and settlements
- Deep understanding of card processing flows, including authorization, clearing, and settlement, as well as dispute management and chargeback processes
- Comprehensive understanding of card products, including credit, debit, and prepaid cards, with experience in designing solutions for co-branded cards, corporate card programs, and loyalty/rewards cards
- Experience in developing and integrating loyalty programs, cashback rewards, and installment payment options to enhance cardholder engagement
- Experience with payment gateways, payment processors, and clearing systems
- In-depth knowledge of card industry standards and regulations, such as PCI-DSS, EMV, PSD2
- Experience in implementing security measures like tokenization and 3D Secure to comply with regulatory and industry mandates
- Knowledge of data management practices specific to payments and cards, including data privacy and data security
- Ability to assess and integrate third-party card management solutions, with experience in solution evaluation, selection, and early-phase project estimates
- Deep technical understanding, knowledge, and experience in proposing architectural design principles and patterns, justifying the benefits and drawbacks for Core Banking application architecture and its integration ecosystem
- Adequate knowledge and experience of baking cyber and information security controls into products via methods such as Data Classification/Asset Valuation and Regulatory Requirements considerations
- Adequate knowledge of and experience in implementing cybersecurity controls such as Authentication, Authorization, Encryption Algorithms & Keys, Data Security, and Security Events Logging & Alerting
- Some knowledge and experience of attacking and defending systems from a cybersecurity perspective.
