Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect at Black Box, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the sales team to understand client requirements and effectively communicate the technical aspects of our network and security solutions. Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth product demonstrations, assessing customer networks for vulnerabilities, preparing detailed technical proposals, and providing guidance during the sales process. You'll work closely with product development and engineering teams to share insights on customer needs and stay updated with industry trends.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and effectively communicate technical aspects of solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs.
• Assess customer networks, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend solutions to enhance security.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical proposals, including network designs and implementation strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients during the sales process.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and conduct technology sharing sessions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or similar are highly desirable.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, routing, switching, and security principles.
• Proficiency in assessing network security risks and recommending solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically in a dynamic environment.
• A customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Education / Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Proven experience in presales engineering within the network and security domain.
