AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth among a diverse range of customers, from small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including the public sector. As a trusted customer advocate, the Solutions Architect will assist organizations in understanding best practices for advanced cloud-based solutions and provide guidance on migrating existing workloads to the cloud. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and execute strategies that build awareness and encourage broader use of AWS services.
Focusing on the enterprise customer segment within the United Arab Emirates, the Solutions Architect will work with new AWS customers to facilitate adoption and help existing customers optimize their use of the platform.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to construct and migrate applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue goals through the adoption of AWS.
- Maintain the overall technical relationship between customers and AWS, providing recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Educate customers of all sizes on the AWS value proposition and engage in deep architectural discussions to ensure successful cloud solution deployment.
- Conduct training sessions to share knowledge with customers considering or currently using AWS, capturing and disseminating best practices among the AWS Solutions Architect community.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 2+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- 5+ years of experience in IT development or consulting within the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in software development or Internet-related industries.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
