The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team is responsible for driving revenue and growth for a wide array of clients, from small and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including those in the public sector. The AWS Global Support team believes that exceptional support is essential for customer success and collaborates with customers who are building mission-critical applications on AWS.

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping shape strategies to enhance the adoption of AWS services through crafting highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that tackle customer-specific business challenges. Your technical background will enable you to engage effectively with both senior personnel and software developers, driving meaningful discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute technical strategies alongside sales and business development teams to foster relationships with Enterprise customers.
- Collaborate with customers and AWS teams to design innovative cloud architectures that address business problems and promote the adoption of AWS services.
- Educate customers about the AWS value proposition through comprehensive architectural discussions to ensure successful deployments.
- Capture and share best practices within the AWS Solution Architect community, contributing to AWS customer-facing publications, such as whitepapers and blogs.

As a Solution Architect, you will provide practical solutions in close cooperation with account teams, specialists, and partners, ensuring that customer business outcomes are accelerated. Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 2+ years of experience in the design, implementation, or consulting of applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience within the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in software development or Internet-related industries.
- Experience in migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies from a development/operations perspective.
