In this role, you will work with Enterprise customers and other AWS teams to craft cloud-based solutions in Saudi Arabia. Customer obsession is at the core of AWS, and as trusted advisors, we represent Amazon well within our customers’ environments. We engage in discussions with senior personnel and guide software developers and architects to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
- Create and execute the technical strategy alongside sales and business development, ensuring success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
- Partner with customers and several AWS teams to craft cloud architectures that provide solutions for business problems.
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure successful deployment in the cloud.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community, including authoring customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and blogs.
As a Solution Architect, you’ll go beyond technical solution architecture to work with account teams, specialists, and partners, delivering practical solutions that accelerate customers' business outcomes. Additionally, you will have access to a broad catalogue of accreditation and education opportunities offered by AWS.

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering).
- 2+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting regarding applications and infrastructure.
- 10+ years of IT development or consulting experience in software or Internet industries.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in software development or Internet-related industries.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Experience with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
