Position

Nutanix is seeking a passionate Presales Solutions Architect for Nutanix Cloud Manager. In this high-impact role, you'll drive sales and customer adoption of Nutanix solutions by understanding customer business challenges and crafting tailored solutions. You will act as a subject matter expert, providing technical expertise to ensure customers' success with Nutanix products. This role involves engaging with both technical and executive audiences, building demos, executing proofs-of-concept (POC), and offering consultative support on architecture and implementation.

As a member of our Systems Engineering & Solution Sales organization, you'll work with over 800 customer-focused sales professionals to align technology opportunities with customer objectives. The position requires regular travel, typically once or twice a month, focusing on emerging markets in regions such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key subject matter expert and influencer in customer decisions to adopt Nutanix technologies.
  • Guide customer adoption initiatives and maintain satisfaction with implemented solutions.
  • Solve complex operational challenges using automation.
  • Present and demonstrate Nutanix technologies, facilitating customer engagements from initial conversations to decision-making evaluations.
  • Develop long-term business relationships and become a trusted advisor.
  • Create and deliver technical product and solution presentations and training sessions.
  • Install, support, and maintain Nutanix solutions during POC deployments.
  • Provide feedback to influence Nutanix go-to-market strategies based on customer interactions.
  • Stay updated on expertise and related business trends.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in IT Operations, DevOps, and technical sales with a proven record of technology adoption.
  • Experience with Public Cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in scripting and coding in languages such as Python, Java, Go, or NodeJS, alongside Linux administration.
  • Understanding of container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Mesos, DC/OS, Swarm, OpenShift).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, Terraform).
  • Knowledge of IT finance fundamentals (ROI/TCO) and experience in making business cases.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is preferred; additional languages relevant to the region may be advantageous.
