We are seeking a Solutions Architect to drive a new era of computing in the datacenter. This role involves engaging with key end users and software partners to showcase AMD technology and address their business needs through real-world applications. The Solutions Architect will provide technical support to strategic commercial accounts, collaborating closely with the sales team and field engineering director.
The focus of this role is on optimizing platform and end user workloads, requiring a deep technical understanding of server processor architectures and related software stacks. The successful candidate will support various sectors, including Cloud Service Providers, High Performance Computing, Financial Services, Large Enterprises, Media and Entertainment, and Telco Service Providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Articulate AMD technology offerings across multiple market verticals.
- Provide expert-level technical assistance to end-users.
- Collaborate with AMD and vendor specialists to build customer solutions.
- Analyze vendor product solutions and evaluate performance based on customer needs.
- Advise sales on the design and integration of applications using AMD solutions.
- Conduct technical design sessions and lead the execution of evaluations.
- Understand the competitive landscape to articulate AMD's technical differentiation.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a Saudi Arabia National, based in Saudi Arabia.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with hardware, system architecture, and software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven success in building relationships with internal teams and customers.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
Preferred Experience:
- Senior-level engineering experience with a customer-facing role.
- Knowledge of market verticals such as cloud computing, HPC, and data analytics.
- Familiarity with server and accelerator software ecosystems.
- Experience in setup and configuration of server systems.
- Understanding of application profiling and performance tuning.
Academic Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred).
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Fluent in spoken and written Arabic.
