In this role, we are looking for someone to help drive a new era of computing in the datacenter. You will engage with key end-users and partners to showcase AMD's technology advantages and address their business needs in practical usage scenarios.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support to strategic commercial end-user accounts.
- Collaborating with the commercial sales team and field engineering director for all technical engagements.
- Offering platform and end-user workload optimization.
- Providing hands-on technical assistance and partnering with various specialists to design customer solutions.
- Analyzing vendor product solutions based on customer needs and evaluating product performance.
Requirements:
- Must be based in Saudi Arabia and a Saudi Arabia National.
- Excellent organizational, communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.
- A balance of hardware, system architecture, and software expertise.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships internally (sales, marketing, engineering) and externally (customers).
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
Preferred Experience:
- Proven experience as a senior-level engineer or in a similar technical role, with customer-facing experience.
- Knowledge of at least one market vertical, including cloud computing, high-performance computing, and data analytics.
- Familiarity with the server and accelerator software ecosystem, including operating systems and profiling tools.
- Hands-on experience with server systems setup, configuration, and performance assessment.
Academic Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent (preferred in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering).
