Job Description:
- Proven experience (8+ years) as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of Java technologies, platforms, and frameworks, including mobile and web development, responsive design, APIs, microservices, and content management systems (CMS) as well as alternative channels like chatbots.
- Proficiency in architecture design principles, patterns, and methodologies; experience in designing scalable, resilient, and secure architectures.
- Hands-on experience with detailed microservices design using Java/.NET.
- In-depth analysis and reverse engineering of existing .NET/Java services code.
- Knowledge of Open API standards and retail banking features domain vocabulary.
- Experience with end-to-end project lifecycle for mobile and web.
- Ability to lead a team to address performance, VAPT issues, and other quality concerns during the project lifecycle.
- Familiarity with OpenShift deployment and MSFT CRM integration.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation and continuous learning in the digital space.
- Relevant certifications, such as Google Professional Cloud Architect or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are desirable.
- Ability to play an integrator role between teams with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in backend and frontend estimation, code reviews, and understanding of quality delivery along with DevOps and manual code reviews.
- Self-driven with leadership skills aligned to team and organizational objectives.
- Hands-on experience with design and development tools needed to fulfill role objectives.
- Experience with building production-ready and highly stable systems, leading go-live strategies, and deployment activities across integrated systems.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with frontend technologies and frameworks such as React, Angular, iOS, and Android.
- Experience in driving and delivering architecture and design.
- Familiarity with API Gateway, especially IBM API Connect.
