Responsibilities:
- Act as the technology subject matter expert for regulatory change projects, focusing on data residency, privacy, and compliance requirements in the UAE.
- Design, develop, and implement robust architectural solutions that align with local regulatory frameworks to deliver high-quality customer experiences, utilizing frameworks such as .NET for back-end and React for front-end solutions.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
- Analyze regulatory policies and changes, providing architectural recommendations to address gaps or impacts on existing systems.
- Develop data residency strategies and oversee the deployment of data-compliant solutions across cloud and on-premise platforms.
- Identify architectural risks and provide mitigation strategies while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
- Architect cloud-based, highly scalable micro-services using RESTful/GraphQL for seamless integrations.
- Implement OIDC (OAuth) and SAML authentication and authorization protocols.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure accurate communication of architectural decisions to stakeholders.
- Support the integration of emerging technologies, ensuring compliance with UAE-specific regulations while driving innovation.
- Guide and mentor technical teams to adopt best practices in architecture and design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including CX/UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product owners.
- Participate in agile transformation initiatives with an emphasis on SAFe methodology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven 10 years of experience in technical architecture, preferably in highly regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare).
- Strong understanding of UAE-specific regulations related to data privacy, data residency, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in managing regulatory-driven projects and ensuring architectural alignment of systems and platforms.
- Expertise in designing and implementing secure and scalable enterprise-level architectures.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and hybrid architecture models.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are an advantage.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is expected; proficiency in Arabic would be an advantage.
