The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect team partners with customers to design and build some of the most scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. AWS Solutions Architects collaborate with AWS Sales and other AWS teams to help address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. As a trusted customer advocate, Solutions Architects assist organizations in understanding best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions and provide strategic advice on migrating existing workloads to the cloud. You'll drive successful business outcomes across a broad set of enterprise customers through your passion for educating, training, designing, and building cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic technical leader in the field to provide architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote & accelerate customer adoption of AWS.
- Ensure customer & partner success in designing, building, and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
- Lead architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
- Educate customers & partners on the value proposition of AWS.
- Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers & partners to enable them to become cloud advocates.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
- Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers, blogs, and proof of concepts.
- Formulate and execute a sales strategy in partnership with the sales & partner team to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS & its partner solutions.
- Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 4+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
- 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud DevOps Engineering).
- Knowledge of cloud architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
- Experience with Generative AI models, RAG, and Fine Tuning.
