As a Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you’ll be tasked with building technical relationships with customers of all sizes and serving as their trusted advisor. Your role will ensure that customers maximize the benefits of the cloud throughout their journey. You will manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and its customers, providing recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging projects.

You will act as the voice of the customer within AWS, sharing customer needs and preferences to shape the roadmap for AWS features. Your creativity will connect technology to practical solutions, offering opportunities to define or invent cloud-native reference architectures tailored for various use cases. Participation in creating and sharing best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (such as whitepapers, code samples, and blog posts) will be vital. Additionally, you will engage in evangelizing and educating audiences about AWS through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking engagements, online videos, or conferences.
This role focuses on the Middle East, North Africa & Turkey (MENAT) region, specifically engaging with Small-to-Medium Business (SMB) customers.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Ensure successful application building and migration to the AWS platform in partnership with the sales team.
- Formulate and execute a sales strategy to surpass revenue goals by adopting AWS solutions.
- Own the overall technical relationship with customers, recommending improvements on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, engaging in deep architectural discussions to ensure successful cloud deployment.
- Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already utilizing AWS.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
- 2+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- 5+ years of experience in IT development or consulting in the software or internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the software development or internet-related industries.
- Familiarity with migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Proficiency in AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
