In this leadership position, you will be responsible for hiring and developing some of the industry's top cloud-based solutions architects. Your role will involve coaching them on cloud adoption best practices, enhancing their technical skills, communication, presentation, and strategic advisory capabilities. You will collaborate with various AWS teams such as account management, service teams, marketing, and professional services to prioritize initiatives and align goals for maximum long-term value.
You will shape and deliver strategies to enhance customer engagement with AWS services, directly interacting with customers to understand their needs and ensure they have the right resources for success. This will involve measuring and delivering results while keeping pace with AWS innovation. Technical credibility is essential for guiding and inspiring your team towards new customer-focused initiatives and crafting appropriate reference architectures for various use cases.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, train, and develop new Solutions Architects and Solution Architecture Managers;
- Coach Solutions Architects to conduct technical sessions to enhance customer skills;
- Partner with account management to create and execute customer-focused strategies for AWS adoption;
- Guide the development of whitepapers, datasheets, and best practices;
- Own the technical strategy to increase customer value and promote well-architected AWS solutions;
- Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of enterprise IT application work, including at least 2 years in hands-on software development or DevOps engineering experience;
- 2+ years architecting/operating solutions on any cloud service provider (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP);
- 8+ years in technology solutions development and guiding IT transformations to cloud computing;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Experience leading and developing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer-facing roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in architecting, migrating, or modernizing customer needs to the cloud;
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies;
- Knowledge of cloud technology partner ecosystems and related products;
- Experience in cloud architecture and CXO-level engagement.
