Position

The purpose of the Solutions Consultant position is to embody the mantra of “Problem Meet Solution”, focusing on the Functional Customer Business Process. The Solutions Consultant's responsibility is to understand the customer’s specific business and technical needs, translating, architecting, and articulating this into a viable and clear blueprint for a technological solution. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, workflows, and pain points to define the "what" and "why" of a solution before delving into and articulating the "how." Solutions Consultants are envisionaries who ensure that the technological solution is technically sound, functionally robust, and user-centric.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Investigator - Discovery and Qualification:

    • Deeply understand the prospect's business during the initial phases of the sales cycle, uncovering business and functional requirements, and engaging various stakeholders to elicit detailed information about their current processes, challenges, and desired future state.
    • Qualify the opportunity in collaboration with the sales executive to determine if our solutions are a genuine fit for the customer's needs.
  • The Architect and Storyteller - Solution Design and Presentation:

    • Transition into architecting a solution articulated via compelling storytelling tailored to address the unique requirements uncovered during discovery.
    • Craft compelling demonstrations and assist Solutions Consultants in creating and presenting customized product demonstrations that showcase how the solution will solve the prospect's specific problems.
  • The Trusted Advisor - Handling Objections and Technical Deep Dives:

    • Address functional and technical objections, providing detailed and reassuring answers.
    • Conduct functional and technical workshops, lead deep-dive sessions with the prospect's team to discuss the solution's architecture, implementation, and ongoing management in detail.
  • The Collaborator - Proposal Development and Closing:

    • Work closely with the sales team to ensure the proposed solution is accurately articulated and reflected in the commercial offer.
    • Define the Scope of Work, providing the customer contextual details that ensure accuracy and clarity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 5 years related experience with complex business software solutions, ideally with at least 2 in a senior role
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and analysis, and solution consulting processes
  • Experience in analyzing prospective customer needs and delivering software demonstrations showcasing how our solutions can be tailored to meet these needs
  • Experience in ownership of the client relationship and stakeholder engagement
  • Desirable to have exposure to risk, crisis, incident, or emergency management systems

Location and Travel Requirements

  • Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Candidates can live anywhere in the UAE

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years experience in technical solutions selling, sales engineering, marketing, or product management, OR 4+ years experience in these fields
