Solutions Engineer

As a Solutions Engineer at the company, your primary responsibilities will include writing and delivering excellent presentations, demonstrating Splunk solutions to prospects both onsite and remotely, and attending field events such as conferences and trade shows. You will be tasked with responding to tender documents like RFIs/RFPs, managing Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements, addressing complex technical questions, and developing presales materials such as business cases and competitive insight documents. Collaboration with the presales team and management will be essential to enhance practices and processes.

You will need domain knowledge in Big Data, Application Performance Management, Security, Business Intelligence/Web Analytics, and Operational Intelligence, along with a strong understanding of the financial services, insurance, telecommunications, and retail markets. You should have experience in complex application environments and knowledge of Log Management and analysis. Strong hands-on skills with UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems, along with web development skills in XML, HTML 5.0, JavaScript, Java, .NET, and Ruby are advantageous.

Essential qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of presales experience with an Enterprise Software Vendor, in-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian customers, and a relevant university degree. You should be proactive, possess strong communication skills in English, be knowledgeable of the sales process, and have excellent organizational and analytical abilities. A resilient and resourceful approach to problem-solving and strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude are also required.

Language requirements include strong verbal and written English language skills.
