Your focus will be on Hypershield, a network security solution for modern applications. A solid understanding of customer value drivers related to network security, as well as the trends and market landscape, is essential. You will employ a proactive approach to generate pipeline and revenue for this product, implementing a thoughtful go-to-market strategy targeting new and existing Cisco Security customers across your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business Units and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to ensure the market success of Hypershield.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to explain features and benefits to customers.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and position Cisco solutions according to customer needs.
- Craft architectures and configure products tailored to specific customer requirements.
- Lead all technical aspects of pre-sales activities through to successful deployment.
- Engage with key technologies across application security, cloud security, data center networking, and more.
- Assist with major Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Participate in Early Adoption and Private Preview programs for new technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical experience as a pre-sales engineer, network operations support, or application engineering role.
- 5+ years of enterprise pre-sales experience with network, cloud security, and/or micro-segmentation products.
- Solid mastery of LAN, WAN, Cloud Security (L4-L7, FWaaS, IPS, DNS Security, VPN, etc.) technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of competitive products like Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, VMware, and Illumio.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Ability to articulate Cisco differentiators effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to present technical information clearly.
