Solutions Engineer - METAP

About the Job:
The Solutions Engineering team is a specialized group responsible for managing relationships between TikTok and its advertising clients. We are seeking engineers with an entrepreneurial mindset who can creatively solve problems and develop solutions that address client needs. This position operates at the intersection of business and engineering, supporting TikTok's marketing and advertising partners in achieving their business goals through tailored technological solutions.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will:

• Build new products and enhance existing ones in collaboration with TikTok's product engineering teams to meet business needs.
• Utilize TikTok's innovative technology to identify and maximize commercial prospects with advertising clients.
• Work closely with the customer success team to uncover business opportunities and support them in achieving their objectives.
• Design and develop end-to-end systems and launch strategies, ensuring production-level code with a focus on maintainability and scalability.
• Identify and align stakeholders towards project completion goals independently.
• Cultivate relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Use data to influence decision-making by presenting business value and impact.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

• High proficiency in Mandarin, both written and oral, to facilitate communication with APAC stakeholders.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in programming/coding and technical solution backend design and delivery.
• Familiarity with one or more general programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C/C++.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship management skills with advertising clients and partners.
• Ability to tailor presentations to various technical levels and experience in delivering technical subjects to diverse audiences.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in advertising technology with large volume data analytics.
