Solutions Engineer, METAP

About the Job:
The Solutions Engineering team at TikTok is responsible for managing relationships with advertising clients. We are seeking engineers with an entrepreneurial mindset who are skilled problem solvers and strategic software engineers. The role will involve partnering with various business verticals to unlock the full potential of new features, products, and business opportunities. You will support cross-functional teams, including R&D, Customer Success, and Product Management, leveraging TikTok's platforms to address real-world business challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Build new products and enhance existing ones in collaboration with TikTok product engineering teams to meet business needs.
• Apply TikTok's products and innovative technology to identify and develop commercial opportunities with advertising clients.
• Collaborate closely with the customer success team to support business goals.
• Design and implement end-to-end systems, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
• Identify stakeholders independently and align cross-functional partners towards project completion.
• Influence decision-making using data and presenting business value and impact.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in programming/coding, backend design, and delivery to clients/advertisers.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, C/C++.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to tailor presentations to diverse audiences and deliver technical subjects effectively.
• Capability to prioritize and meet deadlines under tight timelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in advertising technology and large volume data analytics.
