Position

The Solutions Engineer (SE) is a sales and technical role focused on customers and partners, part of the sales organization. The SE's primary responsibility is to support the sales team with technical skills and provide knowledge around the company's solutions to our customers. The high-level objective is to achieve the allocated sales target by selling relevant solutions and products to our customers' business needs, in partnership with the Sales Account Managers' team.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate the company's solution’s strategy, messaging, and positioning the company’s value proposition for customer business objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, and demonstrations by various mediums – in-person/virtual presentations, etc.
  • Determine the viability of business opportunities and map out these opportunities with customers’ organizational structure.
  • Support the sales process in partnership with the Account Managers by identifying and proposing the company's technology and solutions for specific customer requirements.
  • Consistently provide world-class customer service through the customer and partner life cycle, sharing best practices at various levels.
  • Work collaboratively with Solution Architects and other pre-sales resources, sharing best practices and updates.

Requirements

  • Experience with Telco Infrastructures, Data Centers, Virtualization, and Cloud computing environments.
  • Knowledge of Service Provider’s Mobile network architectures and protocols, with focus on protocols defined by 3GPP.
  • Experience working with DevOps, CI/CD, and SCM tools, as well as container orchestration solutions (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of Network and Application Security.
  • Experience on AI related projects or willingness to learn about AI infrastructure pain points.
  • Familiarity with the company's technology or similar industry solution deployment is a plus.
  • Fluent verbal and writing skills in English.

Work Conditions

  • The role will require customer/partner meetings for at least 50% of the time, which could be remote/virtual or face-to-face meetings whenever possible.

  • The position reports to a Pre-Sales Manager based out of the Nordics region, with flexibility to work remotely.
