The company's Electric Power Division (EPD) offers integrated solutions, parts, and services to meet the needs of various commercial and industrial electric power customers. With over 95 years in the electric power business, our team has world-class expertise and a proven ability to adapt to changing demands. We support crucial applications such as providing prime and backup power to hospitals, emergency power during natural disasters, and critical infrastructure for data centers and municipalities.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Manager who will be responsible for sourcing and securing capacity to support our Power Solutions business. This role is critical for the success of the Large Electric Power (LEPs) division and involves sourcing suppliers to manufacture CAT Solutions for customers in the EAME region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Source, develop, and onboard suppliers capable of manufacturing CAT Solutions, diesel and gas genset enclosures, and electrical controls.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with sourced suppliers.
  • Lead a team to ensure suppliers meet key metrics for People, Quality, Velocity, and Cost.
  • Manage design and development of solutions, working with senior stakeholders to gather business requirements.
  • Execute strategic initiatives including standardization, best practices, and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in diesel and gas power generator sales.
  • Knowledge of data center standby and prime power sourcing requirements.
  • Extensive experience with the EAME CAT dealer network.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar role.
  • A completed university degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
