Space Systems Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and chartered Space Systems Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage in various significant projects within the region. The Space Systems Engineer will focus on systems engineering, architecture definition, and requirements management to support space programs, adhering to ISO 15288:2023 and INCOSE technical processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team and interact with stakeholders.
• Engage with clients and cross-functional teams, translating complex technical concepts into understandable language for diverse audiences.
• Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies for designing complex systems.
• Manage the requirements from initial capture through verification and validation.
• Ensure accurate documentation and traceability of requirements.

Specific Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional.
• Engineering Chartership.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in systems engineering, focusing on architecture and requirements definition.
• Experience with large and complex projects and stakeholder engagement.
• Space systems experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Must be eligible for UAE residency and a UAE security clearance.
• Willingness to travel outside of the UAE, including for extended periods.
