Your role will primarily focus on administering the AS400 / IBM i environment and supporting and evolving the Olympic applications, which are essential for the smooth running of the institution's business processes.
Responsibilities
As a Specialist AS400 / Olympic, you will play a key role in maintaining operational conditions and evolving the platform. Your responsibilities will include:
- Administration of the AS400 / IBM i system: Configuration, maintenance, supervision, and performance optimization to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
- Olympic application support: Providing support for applications, analyzing and resolving incidents, and assisting users in utilizing tools and business processes.
- Management of updates and evolutions: Planning and implementing necessary updates of the environment and applications while ensuring system stability.
- Security and compliance: Implementing and maintaining security measures necessary to protect data and ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.
- Continuous improvement: Identifying areas for improvement, proposing process optimizations, and contributing to the integration of new functionalities on the platform.
- Inter-team collaboration: Working closely with IT teams, business teams, and various internal stakeholders to ensure the system meets operational and strategic needs.
- Technological monitoring and support: Keeping up with developments in the AS400 / IBM i environment and Olympic applications, and contributing to skills development for teams and users.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced, autonomous, and rigorous professional capable of thriving in a demanding and confidential banking environment.
Education
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+4 / Bac+5) in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the banking or financial sector is particularly valued.
- Significant experience with AS400 / IBM i and Olympic environments is essential.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in the AS400 / IBM i environment.
- Solid understanding of Olympic applications.
- Skills in system administration, maintenance, and optimization.
- Good grasp of security, compliance, and data protection issues in a banking context.
- Ability to analyze and resolve application and technical incidents.
