KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify risks and potential impacts to the business and brand, recommending appropriate mitigation actions.
- Establish a robust framework for corporate business continuity in accordance with ISO standards (ISO 22301) to ensure preparedness for disruptions.
- Plan and review the effectiveness of response mechanisms to identified risks/impacts for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with all departments to identify, standardize, and consolidate existing continuity plans, ensuring alignment with other business areas.
- Lead the testing and training of Business Continuity actions and responses at all levels, providing documented feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Liaise with the supply chain and key stakeholders to align, optimize, and validate business continuity plans, ensuring they remain effective and resilient.
- Monitor corporate changes in policy requiring updates affecting business continuity to align with organizational directives.
- Conduct periodic reviews of business continuity plans, processes, and procedures to ensure effectiveness and adjust as needed.
- Monitor industry and regulatory updates for compliance and procedural changes to be incorporated.
- Develop best practices for business continuity, providing guidance to departments to enhance resilience and operational effectiveness.
- Lead continued research into industry learnings and promote insights within the organization to enhance response and resilience.
- Represent the Business Continuity department within the Crisis Management Centre on a rostered basis, providing input and support during activations, exercises, and related response activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 3 years).
- Degree in Risk Management, Resilience Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience in applying Business Continuity and best practices; familiarity with working across multiple business areas and cross-functional stakeholders.
- 7 - 9 years of relevant experience.
- Certified Business Continuity Institute (CBCI) or higher required.

ISR REQUIREMENTS
- Comply with the ISR policies and report any weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or Information Security team.
- Complete all required ISR awareness sessions and follow associated guidelines in day-to-day operations.
