Specialist, Business Development (Origination)

About the Job

• Analyse business data to assess performance of business lines and enable business units to monitor their performance.
• Increase data availability through gathering multiple sources and ensure data quality.
• Diagnose business performance issues through data analysis of business operations generated data and recommend corrective measures and support BUs during the implementation phase.
• Provide support for strategic and operational planning through data analysis of historical business transactional data, market trends, and develop factual business scenarios for senior management decision making.
• Develop dashboards and business reports for the organization in coordination with the business intelligence team of ITD.
• Help in developing sales budget forecasts by coordinating with Business Units in gathering the right market intelligence.
• Collaborate with all business units in the company and various departments to develop initiatives.
• Continuously conduct macro trends, market, competitor, and business development analysis; develop financial models to assess the viability of various business cases.
• Follow up with Business Units management on status and issues related to Business Support studies and implement recommendations.
• Recommend policy/procedure/systemic interventions and provide insights for the formulation of the right policy based on real-time data.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Business Economics/Mathematics is a must; MBA is preferable.
• 6 years of experience in information analysis and business performance.
• Strong analytical and mathematical/statistical skills are essential.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques, modeling, research design, and analysis is a must.
• Knowledge of SAS or any statistical software is an advantage.
• Training/presentation and communication skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal; knowledge of Arabic would be advantageous.
