The Opportunity
Presight is looking for a focused and insightful Specialist Business Intelligence to support its operational strategy and enhance overall business efficiency through BI-driven market research, trend analysis, and data visualization.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing BI solutions
- Creating standard reports and functional dashboards based on requirements
- Collaborating with business users to understand their needs
- Reviewing and validating customer data as collected
- Maintaining dashboards and reports
- Supporting data analytic platforms
- Coordinating with Data/Business Analysts and customers to develop business requirements and specifications documents
- Traveling to customer sites when needed
- Participating in the on-call engineer rotation for off-hours support on critical service issues
- Identifying and implementing workarounds for customer incidents
- Collaborating in a multicultural environment
- Effectively communicating information clearly and consistently
- Complying with policies related to Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE), Business Continuity, Information Security, and Governance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of practical experience in creating application and business solutions on data analytical tools (Kibana, Tableau, or equivalent)
- 1+ years of experience with Kibana
- 2+ years of experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Ideally, you’ll also need
- In-depth market and domain knowledge
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Understanding of data visualization tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
