Responsibilities

Spotfire & Power BI Dashboard Development:
- Design and develop interactive Spotfire dashboards with advanced features and visualizations.
- Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI Desktop, integrating Power Query and DAX for complex calculations.

Data Analysis and Modelling:
- Transform raw data into meaningful insights aligned with business needs.
- Develop data models to support complex reporting and ensure data quality and integrity.

Database and Cloud Integration:
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Integrate data from various cloud sources (Azure, AWS).

REST API Integration:
- Work with REST APIs to manage data extraction and integration into BI tools.

Data Handling & Performance Optimization:
- Manage large datasets efficiently for quick load times and optimized report performance.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Provide training and support for end-users on dashboards and reports.
Qualifications

Experience & Expertise:
- 3+ years of experience as a BI Developer focused on dashboard design using Spotfire and Power BI.
- Strong background in Data Analysis and data modeling, especially in the Oil & Gas industry.

Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Spotfire and Power BI features, including SQL querying for Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Strong experience with REST APIs and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of additional BI tools or platforms.
- Certification in BI tools (Spotfire, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience with data warehousing and big data technologies in the Oil & Gas domain.
