The Opportunity
Presight is looking for a focused and insightful Specialist Business Intelligence to support its operational strategy and enhance overall business efficiency via BI-driven market research, trend analysis and data visualization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage BI solutions.
- Create standard reports and functional dashboards as per the requirements.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their needs.
- Review and validate customer data as it is collected.
- Maintain dashboards and reports.
- Support data analytic platforms.
- Coordinate with Data/Business Analysts and customers to develop business requirements and specifications documents.
- Travel to customer sites when needed, joining the on-call engineer rotation for critical service issues.
- Identify and implement workarounds for customer incidents.
- Collaborate in a multicultural and diverse environment across various geographic locations.
- Communicate effectively, conveying and receiving information in a clear, credible, and consistent manner.
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of practical knowledge in creating application and business solutions on data analytical tools (Kibana, Tableau, or equivalent).
- 1+ years of experience with Kibana is a must.
- 2+ years of experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Ideally, you’ll also need:
- In-depth market and domain knowledge.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- In-depth understanding of data visualization tools & techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
