About the Role
The role involves supporting the planning and coordination in the design, development, monitoring, and analysis of performance measures and reporting for the Refining Business Division. This includes liaising with the Asset Management teams and reporting companies to monitor performance and analyze findings, providing recommendations to align with the organization's vision and maintain a performance-driven culture. The position also includes identifying areas for improvement and supervising the administration of the Division’s performance management system in coordination with the Corporate Performance Team. Additionally, it involves overseeing the development of performance scorecards and challenging metric targets.

Key Accountabilities
Supervision:
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
- Train and develop assigned staff on relevant skills to ensure proficiency in delivering business objectives.
Budgets:
- Provide input for the preparation of Function/Division/Department/Section budgets and assist in implementing approved budgets and work plans.
- Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:
- Implement approved policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures to support execution of work programs in alignment with company and international standards.
Performance Management:
- Contribute to the achievement of approved performance objectives for the Function/Division/Department/Section in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Design and implement new tools and techniques to enhance the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices to achieve greater efficiency and develop intelligent solutions for challenges faced by the function.
Communication & Working Relationships
Internal:
- Daily contact with Line Manager and team members from the Refining Business Division.
- Regular interaction with the Downstream Industry, Marketing & Trading Directorate Management for KPI setup and performance monitoring.
- Regular contacts with the Group Performance team within HQ and Performance Management teams within Downstream Industry and Marketing & Trading Group companies.
- Occasionally liaise with other Directorates within the organization for information exchange and discussions.
External:
- Regular contacts with international shareholders to discuss Joint Venture performance matters.
- Occasionally engage with potential/existing clients.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Management, Engineering, or equivalent, preferably with specialized training in performance management systems/processes.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills:
- 8 years of relevant professional experience, including 4 years specifically in the Oil and Downstream or Marketing industry.
- Exposure to multiple facets of an integrated energy and petrochemical company.
- Experience in analytical data-driven thinking and decision-making.
