Specialist, Cybersecurity Defense

The Threat Management Specialist ensures the effective management, configuration, and utilization of defense tools such as SIEM, SOAR, NDR, Threat Intel, and other security technologies. It involves developing use cases and playbooks, onboarding and managing logs, and optimizing tool configurations to enhance detection, response, and overall security operations. The service supports continuous monitoring and threat defense across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and configure defense tools such as SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intel, and NDR
• Develop and update use cases and playbooks for threat detection and response
• Onboard, offboard, and manage logs from relevant systems into defense tools
• Conduct periodic reviews and maintenance of the defense tools
• Develop a threat hunting plan
• Conduct intelligence-driven threat hunting
• Perform intelligence-driven compromise assessment
• Safeguard brand reputation through protection services
• Manage and monitor the attack surface
• Identify and analyze vulnerability intelligence
• Monitor the dark web for data leakage identification

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field
• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, preferably across multi-platform environments
• Familiarity with frameworks like OWASP, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and NCA ECC practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Professional Certificates

• CompTIA Security+ / CySA+, GSEC, GSDA, GCTI, GMON
