Specialist Data & Access Security Planning (Trainee)

To safeguard the organization’s sensitive information by developing, implementing, and maintaining strong security and privacy controls. The role ensures compliance with data protection laws, reduces cybersecurity risks, and promotes safe data-handling practices across the organization.

Job Description

• Monitor systems and networks for security threats, vulnerabilities, or suspicious activity.
• Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents or data breaches.
• Maintain secure access controls and ensure proper user permission management.
• Develop and update privacy policies in alignment with laws such as UAE Data law, Dubai Data law, DESC security law, GDPR, HIPAA, or local regulations.
• Ensure data handling processes meet compliance requirements.
• Oversee data lifecycle practices, including data collection, usage, storage, and deletion.
• Conduct privacy impact assessments for new systems, software, or projects.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma Holder in computer or electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• Preferred existing knowledge of Information Security.
• Ability to work both independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
