Specialist - Engineering Systems

About the Job: The main objective of the role is to manage and optimize engineering systems IT systems such as AMOS, Airvault, RFID Aero check, Aero track, ATS, and MDM - AirWatch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure operational effectiveness of engineering systems and maximize functionality.
• Manage service and change requests in collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams.
• Develop, implement, and control changes to working practices for improved system efficiency.
• Oversee testing and acceptance processes during new releases and patching.
• Serve as the focal point for the future development of business intelligence systems.
• Control policies and application versions for engineering iPads through AirWatch Mobile Device Management.
• Manage the development and delivery of technology solutions for engineering and maintenance.
• Conduct business process mapping and identify actions for implementing changes.
• Lead report requirement gathering and evaluate solutions for report development.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Develop training modules and provide training for engineering departments.
• Regularly maintain and update engineering systems, including software, hardware, and databases.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure integration and compatibility of systems.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users on system functionalities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (3+ years).
• 8 - 10 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in English.

ISR Requirements:
Comply with ISR policies of the company, report weaknesses or incidents to the Line Manager or Information Security team, and complete all required ISR awareness sessions.
