About the Role
The company is seeking a talented Financial Partnerships Specialist to support our rapid growth and expansion in the MENA region. In this role, you will manage and grow partnerships with key card networks such as Visa and Mastercard, Acquiring Banks, APMs, and other payment providers. Reporting to the Head of Financial Partnerships - MENA, you will be responsible for handling multiple projects and partnerships autonomously, drawing on your payments knowledge and experience. What You Will Be Doing:
- Manage commercial relationships with Card Networks, Acquiring Banks, and APMs to develop and deliver market-leading payment solutions for our merchants.
- Drive expansion projects across geographies and payment methods in collaboration with a wider team.
- Negotiate favorable operational and commercial outcomes while balancing both internal and external stakeholder needs.
- Ensure adherence to existing processes and that deliverables are met in partnerships. Design and develop new processes to scale partnerships for growth, efficiency, and performance improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with various functions within the partner organization, including relationship management, business development, risk, compliance, product, and operations.
- Develop and execute a best-in-class partnership management model, acting as the single point of contact internally and externally for assigned partnerships.
- Utilize industry knowledge to develop and execute strategies supporting growth with new products, services, and market segments through partnerships.
- Craft and implement beneficial commercial agreements and go-to-market strategies with payment partners.
- Leverage payment industry knowledge to act as a subject matter expert for internal teams.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years experience in payments, ideally with extensive exposure to Card Networks.
- Direct experience in payment processing, acquiring, or managing payment partnerships.
- Proficient in payments knowledge with problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience working with card networks or PSPs for acquiring payment transactions is a strong plus.
- A blend of operations, project management, and relationship management skills.
- A strong sense of ownership focused on delivering business results and managing partner relationships.
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities, with the capacity to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Data-driven and analytical, with a strategic mindset for problem-solving and identifying growth opportunities.
- Comfortable working across time zones and cultures in a globally distributed team.
