About the Role
This position involves reviewing, studying, and supervising workforce planning activities across the organization. The role is responsible for developing Workforce Plan templates for all business units to ensure that adequate human resources are available to meet short, medium, and long-term objectives. Additionally, you will coordinate the company’s Nationalization intake plan with relevant business units and work with the Talent Development Department to ensure integration plans for Entry Point Employees are incorporated into the workforce business plan.

Key Accountabilities
Workforce Planning
- Monitor the company’s annual and long-term workforce planning needs to ensure the development of realistic Workforce Plans.
- Supervise the development of the annual National intake and 10-year plans and ensure their alignment with the company’s Emiratization targets.
- Ensure timely provision of accurate Workforce information that supports the Corporate Planning and decision-making processes.
- Provide accurate information and statistics on vacant/critical positions to facilitate the development of the Annual Recruitment / Critical Emiratization Plan.
- Study corporate headcount forecasts and ensure alignment with the intended target, providing recommendations regarding cost minimization and other areas of interest.
- Validate requisitions for recruitment and changes in employee status to ensure alignment with the recruitment plan and vacancy availability.
- Liaise with the Talent Development team to ensure integration plans for Entry Point Employees are established.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented automation features related to workforce planning dashboards and systems.
- Review and study the annual workforce 10-year Business Plan, presenting analytical data to enable decision-makers to take action.
- Support business units with workforce data to enable appropriate preparation of inputs for the workforce business plan.
- Ensure workforce planning processes are efficient and aligned with the organizational structure, supporting company strategic objectives.
- Provide organization information to external consultants to facilitate professional organization and workforce studies.
Workforce Budget
- Develop the company’s annual workforce budget input and supervise its compilation to support the Workforce Planning process.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent Professional Qualification.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 9 years of experience in Workforce Planning/Human Resource Management, preferably in the Oil/Gas industry, with at least 4 years in supervisory roles.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive experience in workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and financial budgets.
- Experience in analyzing, organizing, and directing positive organizational change.
- Knowledge in commercial/cost control.
- Experience in leveraging HR Systems/technology to create workforce analytics and metrics.
- Familiarity with developing and utilizing predictive analytics and statistical modeling.
- Root cause analysis skills.
- Experience in writing clear and analytic reports on workforce and positions.
- Understanding of applicable employment laws and regulations.
